English cricketer Danielle Wyatt has never been short on word when it comes to admiring the Indian captain Virat Kohli. Wyatt, who is one of the key members of the England Women’s cricket team, recently posted another update on the social media expressing her excitement to be named in a list that features Virat Kohli too!
Sky Sports recently posted a ‘team of the week’ list and the post was authored by Matt Floyd. The list featured the top cricketers who made the headlines in the previous week of cricketing action. Floyd named Indian captain Virat Kohli as the captain of his team of the week. Kohli’s thundering ton in the second innings of the Kolkata Test against Sri Lanka earned him the adulation in the list.
As Floyd described in his post, Kohli’s knock was a cut above the rest since the track was seaming on the fifth day and his knock almost sealed the glory for the Indian team. Meanwhile, Danielle Wyatt also managed to feature in the list owing to her scintillating ton in the final T20I of the Women’s Ashes. Wyatt blasted a magnificent century in just 56 deliveries in the match!
Well, the young all-rounder could not stop herself from showing her excitement after being named in the team which had Virat Kohli as the captain. She posted an update on Twitter, which read, “Same team as @imVkohli scenes! @mattkfloyd.”

Well, this is not the first time that Danielle Wyatt has posted a tweet for Kohli. Seeing Kohli’s exploits in the World T20 in 2014, she had proposed the Indian cricketer on the social media. Soon, when India toured England, a picture of Wyatt and Kohli went viral on the social media. Most recently, she posted another update with a bat that was gifted to her from Kohli.
