Team India skipper Virat Kohli proved yet again why he is regarded as a modern day great. The swashbuckling batsman became the fastest to reach the 10000 run milestone in ODI cricket, taking just 205 innings to achieve the feat. The fan world and the cricket fraternity went berserk hailing the master of the modern day game.

Virat Kohli reached the milestone number en route his knock of unbeaten 157 off 129 deliveries against the Windies in the second ODI of the ongoing 5-match series. This century was Kohli’s second consecutive ton in the series, and his 37th in his ODI career. The rate at which he is scoring tons and breaching records is certainly etching his name in golden colours in the record books of the game.

After the recent knock, the good wishes and praises came in from all corners for the Indian captain. Among the many tweets that came flooding for Kohli, one tweet managed to get some special attention. This tweet came in from English Women’s cricketer Danielle Wyatt.

Danielle Wyatt and Virat Kohli share a special storyline. Wyatt has openly hailed the Indian captain as one of the greats and is an ardent follower of the Indian skipper. Ever since she proposed Kohli to marry her back in 2014, after Kohli’s sensational run in ICC World T20 2014, the Twitterverse has always kept an eye on the connection that two cricketers share.

Since then, there have been several instance when Wyatt has openly expressed her awe for the game of Virat Kohli. And now, when Virat scaled the 10k mountain, Danielle Wyatt had a special tweet for him. Praising the fact that it took just 11 innings for Kohli to reach 10000 mark from the 9000 mark, Wyatt remarked that it was rather too easy for Kohli. She praised him as the greatest of all time.

Here is the tweet that Danielle Wyatt came up with:

“Too easy for the King,” Wyatt wrote in her tweet.
