West Indies cricketer Darren Sammy is always known to be a kind hearted individual who always sports a smile on his face and loves to help. At the moment, he is in Pakistan spreading love and to aid revive international cricket in the country. There was another instance involving the West Indian in Lahore at the Gaddafi Stadium when he was seen pushing an auto-rickshaw to get it started.

Sammy is the part of World XI side which has travelled to Pakistan as the International cricket has finally returned to Pakistan. He is known to play the game in true spirit and enjoys every aspect of cricket thoroughly even if his team is in the losing cause. One such incident happened during the first T20I on Tuesday when Hasan Ali delivered a perfect yorker on the second ball of the final over. Sammy was looking for big shots as his team needed 28 off just 5 balls and went for one. But the yorker was so precisely executed that he had to dig it out from the crease and in the process, he fell down.

But the captain of the two-time T20 champion West Indies side instead smiled and appreciated Ali for the delivery and clapped as the bowler gave him the helping hand to get back on his feet. The scenes were so heartening and the champion cricketer won hearts of the fans around the world.

Sammy once again sets an example

Before the first game though, Darren Sammy gave his fans another reason to love him. All the players were welcomed to the ground in the auto-rickshaw as a special gesture from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The all-rounder too was in one of the rickshaws which were on its way towards the ground. But the vehicle stopped in between due to some issues.

Sammy was the first one to get down and push the rickshaw in order to get it started. Soon it was on its way again and the Caribbean cricketer got back in it and started waving his hands to the crowd with a smile on his face.
