Weather Report

The weather is great for the game of cricket to take place at the venue. There is no chance of rain with the temperature expected to hover in the mid-30s.

Pitch Report

This is the first match of the tournament at the venue. However, if the C and D Grade matches that took place at this ground last week are considered, the bowlers generally enjoy at the venue. In both the matches, batsmen struggled to score runs. But with some of the top cricketers in Darwin taking the field for this match, expect the team batting first to score over 200 runs at least in 50 overs.

Average first innings score: 141 (In two 50-over matches played at the venue last week)

Matt Hammond is an exceptional all-rounder for Southern Districts CC. In the recently concluded T20 tournament he picked up 11 wickets and scored 105 runs in five matches. Dean Fry is another decent player. He bats in the middle-order on most occasions and scored 83 runs apart from picking 7 wickets in five outings.

Corey Kelly did well in the semi-final of the tournament scoring an unbeaten 77 off 39 balls but impressed little in the rest of four matches. With the ball, Michael Ninneman is the best with five wickets to his name.

As far as the Pint Cricket Club are concerned, Tim Garner starred for them in the previous game with an unbeaten 82-run knock. He was in good form in T20 tournament as well scoring 118 runs in three outings. He also bowled in the previous One-Day game returning with 1/12 in six overs. John Flynn scored 17 runs in the previous game and picked a wicket as well. His all-round game was at its best in the T20s as well earlier this month.
