SRH, led by David Warner, have momentum with them having won four matches on the trot and one of their thumping wins came against DC as well. They defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in a low-scoring thriller in the eliminator.

DC, on the other hand, were at the receiving end of all the thrashing at the hands of Mumbai Indians (MI) in the first qualifier.
