Dhanashree Verma surprises Yuzvendra Chahal with adorable gesture

There is absolutely no stopping Yuzvendra Chahal in UAE at present. The leg-spinner is going from strength to strength in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) and has once again justified the immense faith shown in him by the Royal Challengers Bangalore team-management in him. The India leg-spinner has become RCB’s go-to man with the ball in the ongoing competition.

He is one of the reasons behind the Bangalore-based outfit‘s stunning campaign so far. With 7 wins in ten games, the Virat Kohli-led side is looking set to make it to the playoffs for the first time since 2016. He started the campaign with a 3-wicket haul against Sunrisers Hyderabad and has not looked back since then.

Not only has he been among the wickets but has also been extremely economical so far. In ten games so far, he has picked up 15 wickets at an impressive average of 18.33 while his economy rate is just 6.97. RCB would be hoping that their spin-spearhead continues in the same sort of form and help them end their long wait for the first-ever IPL title.

Dhanashree Verma’s surprise for Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal’s stay in UAE has become even more special with the arrival of his fiancée Dhanashree Verma. Dhanashree was recently seen cheering for the bowler from the stands when RCB locked horns against Kolkata Knight Riders earlier this week. Dhanashree had not accompanied Chahal to the UAE at the start of the IPL and recently joined him in the gulf country.

And on Friday, RCB posted an adorable video showing how she pleasantly surprised the leg-spinner. In the video titled ‘Reason behind Yuzi’s happiness’, she said that while Chahal did know about her arrival in Dubai, he didn’t know that she was going to meet him before the match against KKR. Dhanashree was supposed to meet the bowler after the match but she decided to surprise him by meeting him before the start of the game.

“Bold Diaries: Yuzi’s biggest reason to smile. The happier @yuzi_chahal is off the field, the more lethal he is on the field. And there’s a new reason behind his happiness of late, and that’s Dhanashree Verma,” wrote RCB while posting the adorable video.
