He will be remembered as one of the greatest all-rounders not to represent his country. His batting prowess is second to none while he comes across as a clever medium fast bowler. He has played 190 first-class games, scoring 8137 runs at an average of 33.21 with a highest score of 141. Trego has been a vital cog in the county circuit. His experience has come in handy for many teams. At a time when Marcus Trescothick, Ronnie Irani and the likes of Nick Knight were notching hundreds, Trego was doing heroics at the county circuit.
