Yuzvendra Chahal has been everyone’s favourite cricketer on social media as the cricket universe loves his humorous personality. The Haryana-based leg-spinner is ready to accept the trolls and on many occasions, the members of the Indian cricket team have pulled his leg on social media.

The fans had seen how skipper Virat Kohli trolled him with a hilarious comment when he posted a photo with Kieron Pollard while vice-captain Rohit Sharma compared him with The Rock on Twitter. Recently, even English women’s cricketer Danielle Wyatt engaged in a comedic conversation with the Indian leggie on Instagram.

Chahal, who is a part of the Indian ODI squad that is battling against New Zealand, posted a photo with Shreyas Iyer on his official Instagram account with the caption, “Got your back always.” Rohit Sharma, who is out with an injury, was quick to troll him by commenting: “Apna sambal le pehele” (Take care of your own back first).

The fans were waiting for Chahal’s reply to the Mumbaikar’s comment and finally, he came up with an interesting reply. Chahal felt that Rohit was jealous because he posted a picture with Iyer and not him. Thus, he promised Rohit that he will soon upload a photo with him on Instagram. Here’s what Chahal had to say in his reply to Rohit: “@rohitsharma45 I know bhaiya u missing me coz u not here so don’t be jealous next pic soon with you.”

New Zealand take an unassailable lead in the ODI series

After being whitewashed by the visitors in the five-match T20I series, New Zealand bounced back to perfection in the 50-overs format. They have already taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the 3-match series. It is interesting to note that New Zealand did not have their regular skipper Kane Williamson in this series while even their marquee fast bowler, Trent Boult has been out of action.

The New Zealand camp lost its substitutes because of fitness issues which had compelled them to send their fielding coach Luke Ronchi to field in the 2nd ODI. The third and final ODI of the series will take place on Tuesday where the Kiwis will try to avenge their T20I series loss by completing a whitewash in the ODIs.
