Dwayne Bravo is one of the best all-rounders going around in the T20 circuit currently and recently played in the Indian Premier League (IPL). It is a known fact that he was part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise who were making a comeback to the fray of the tournament after two years. They retained his services for a whopping amount of Rs 6.4 Crores by using the Right to Match (RTM) card in the auction. As it turned out, the all-rounder played a pivotal role in the team’s title triumph this season.
Under the inspired leadership of MS Dhoni, CSK won the IPL for the third time with Bravo playing the role of a death overs specialist bowler. He played all the 16 matches of the tournament in the Yellow jersey and went on to scalp 14 wickets while conceding 9.96 runs per over. Though the performance was not according to his standards, Bravo was at his best in certain matches even winning the matches with the bat for his team. His inputs to the other players also helped at the crucial juncture of the tournament.
However, he has gifted himself something superb after plying his trade in the cash-rich league and has made the perfect use of his money earned in the IPL.
What is the gift?
Dwayne Bravo has bought the newest version of Mustang which is an American car manufactured by Ford. He himself revealed the news of the same in his latest Instagram post and was delighted to share the picture with his followers. “MUSTANG2018 for the Champion just feel like spoiling myself #RunDWorld,” he captioned the message with this message and was set to ride on it.
Bravo will now be seen playing in the inaugural edition of Global T20 Canada where he will lead the Winnipeg Hawks franchise. The league is all set to commence on June 28 and will see the cricketers like Steve Smith, David Warner, Chris Gayle among others lock horns on the field.
