India Under-19s ended undefeated on their tour of England by defeating the home side 2-0 in the 2-match Youth Test series and 5-0 in the 5-match ODI series. The final game of the Youth ODI series went down the wire with the Indian side winning the game by 1-wicket victory in the final over of the match.
England posted 222/9 in their 50 overs after electing to bat first. Like in the previous games, the home side lost the plot despite getting a perfect platform from the top order as the Indian spinners put on the much-needed breaks at crucial stages. Losing three wickets for just one run pushed India to a position where they needed 6 runs to win with only one wicket in hand. All-rounder Kamlesh Nagarkoti held his nerves to take India past the target with 4 balls to spare.
