The problems for Team England do not seem to end. As per the recent news from the England camp, the Head Coach Trevor Bayliss is all set to board a flight to Australia on Monday night. Bayliss is expected to undergo a minor operation in Sydney before joining the national side back for limited overs series in India. England have had a very tough time during their ongoing 5-match Test series in India.

They are trailing 3-0 at the moment with a potential threat of losing the final Test and going down 4-0. With such a horrid run, any injury to player or support staff would only mean more agony for the side. The official Twitter handle of the England cricket team took to Twitter to announce about the situation of Trevor Bayliss. They wrote, “England head coach Trevor Bayliss will fly to Australia on Monday night ahead of a minor operation in Sydney.”

The reason or cause for the operation was not disclosed. However, it is learnt from the tweet that the operation is a minor one and the veteran coach should be back with the side sometime soon. The news came in on the eve of the final day of their long Test tour in India. While the rest of the team will head back home after the conclusion of the Chennai Test, Bayliss will have an early departure leaving the side on the eve of the final day itself.

England are due to play limited overs series in India as well. They have a 25-day gap to regroup and rethink before they head back to the Indian soil in January next year. England will play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is during the visit. The ODI series kicks off with the first ODI scheduled to be played at Pune on January 15.
