England batsmen utilized the conditions on the first day of the 2nd Test at Old Trafford as the Pakistan bowlers had to sweat out for wickets. Alastair Cook and Joe Root scored centuries putting a huge stand between themselves as England had 314/4 on the board at the end of 1st day’s play. Here we look at all the stats and records recorded during the day.
