Zaheer has been a household name for the better part of a decade owing to his famed pace bowling for India. On the other hand, Sagarika is a successful model and actress, best known for having portrayed the character of Preeti Sabarwal in the blockbuster Hindi film, Chak De! India.
The couple’s love story is nothing short of a fairy tale. After initially being two people who met in group outings owing to mutual friends, Zaheer and Sagarika eventually started dating and their romance blossomed into a classical, dreamy love story.
The rumours about the couple had gossip grapevines churning from the start but the two chose to maintain a dignified silence on the matter for a long period of time. The wedding of Yuvraj Singh-Hazel Keech marked the first ever public appearance of the picture-perfect couple, who did not shy away from making their relationship public thereon.
It was during the 2017 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) that Zaheer and Sagarika got engaged and posted an adorable picture on Instagram, laying their love for each other out in the open, for the world to gush over.

The couple opted for a court marriage on November 23, 2017, and set the internet on fire with the gorgeous pictures of their Mehendi ceremony and wedding photo-shoot. Sagarika looked drop-dead gorgeous in all the regal outfits that she donned for each ceremony and Zaheer bowled over quite a few hearts with his suave looks, just as easily as he knocks the bails off the stumps.

Following the low-key wedding that involved only the people closest to Zaheer and Sagarika, the very much in-love couple took off to spend their honeymoon in the picturesque backdrop of the Maldives.
