Fans chant 'Anushka bhabhi zindabad' in a hilarious way after spotting Virat Kohli on the field

Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper got off to a mind-wobbling start to the tour of New Zealand as his side registered a historic series win by 5-0 against the hosts. The visitors’ captain lived up to the expectations of the fans as he did exceedingly well with the bat for his side.

After India registered a close win against the BlackCaps by seven runs, the 31-year-old became the first Indian skipper to register a whitewash against New Zealand in the shorter format. In the 5th T20I, Virat Kohli was rested by the team management and Rohit Sharma was assigned as the stand-in skipper of the side.

However, it didn’t affect the form of the side as Men in Blue extended their winning streak to six from the point when they lost their last game in the shorter format. Jasprit Bumrah was nominated as the Man of the Match, who bowled an amazing bowling spell and he registered figures of 3/12. Meanwhile, KL Rahul was given Man of the Series for scoring 224 runs in five games with two fifties and two forty plus scores with his willow against BlackCaps.

Anushka Sharma’s name again pops out

Now, a video has surfaced on the social media in which the Indian fans can be spotted calling Virat Kohli by taking the name of his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. In the clip, a few Indian fans were spotted chanting ‘Anushka Bhabhi Zindabad’ to draw the attention of Virat Kohli. It is well known that Anushka Sharma is the better half of Kohli as the couple tied the knot two years ago on 11 December.

The incident happened during the fourth T20I between India and New Zealand at Sky Stadium in Wellington. The Indian skipper was heading towards his dugout when the fans started taking the name of the Bollywood diva.

The spectators might have done to motivate or to attract the attention of the 31-year-old player but that did not happen. Kohli didn’t give any attention to the same as he ignored the fan and went into his dugout. This was not the first occasion when the fans have come out with Anushka Sharma’s name during India matches.
