Fans troll 'Sir' Ravindra Jadeja after dismissing Angelo Mathews off a no-ball

As the match head to the fifth and the final day of three-match Test series between India and Sri Lanka, the excitement reaches the top echelon. With not much to cheer for fans, ‘Sir’ Ravindra Jadeja provides his inputs to make it an interesting one. On his 29th Birthday, Ravindra Jadeja started the proceedings for India from one end and was able to send former Sri Lankan captain, Angelo Mathews back to the pavilion.

A sharp catch at first slip from India’s vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane ensured India a good start, putting visitors on the back foot early on the final day. However, minutes after Angelo left the field, the cameraman helped populous to know that ‘Sir’ Jadeja bowled a no-ball (stepping over the line), which led Twiter on fire. Umpire wasn’t too cautious about seeing Jadeja’s foot and made the decision in a flash.

With umpire missing the errant front-foot of the bowler, Sri Lanka was four down for mere 30 odd runs on the board. To play the remaining overs, Sri Lanka needed a big partnership from their middle order, and one would have to say, they did it exceptionally well.

Playing prime fast bowlers on a wicket which started to do a little on the fourth day was a tough task. However, Dickwella with the star of second innings, Dhananjaya de Silva ensured Sri Lanka to be on the safe side.

On the other hand, Indian bowlers tried their level best to break the partnership, but on the given day, they were just not been able to do that. Captain Virat Kohli tried to rotate his bowlers to not let Sri Lankan batsman be comfortable, but nothing went India’s way as they could pick only two wickets in three sessions, which led to a draw at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi.
