BSV Britannia will be fighting against RC Dresden in the 9th match of the ECS Germany 2023 at the Rugby Cricket Ground in Dresden on August 15. Both these teams would be playing for the first time this season and would be looking forward to finding their team balance early on in the tournament.

BSV Britannia last locked horns with ICA Berlin, where ICA Berlin won the toss and elected to bowl. Britannia did not start their innings on a good note, losing their opener Janpreet Singh early. A couple of players scored some decent runs, with the help of which they were able to score 97 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Berlin had a completely different approach and went all guns blazing from the start. They got a little slow in the middle but made up for the same towards the end and won the match comfortably by eight wickets. 

RC Dresden, on the other hand, fought with Berlin Cricket Academy in their last game, where Berlin Cricket Academy won the match by ten wickets. RC Dresden won the toss and elected to bat. Dresden made an aggressive start with both their openers firing, but they slowed down as soon as the openers were gone. Sandeep Kamboj (27) was the highest scorer for them as they set up a target of 76 runs for BCA. Berlin Cricket Academy chased down the total like a walk in the park and did not even lose a single wicket in the process.
