Prague CC had played against Vinohrady CC in their last encounter, where the toss was won by Prague CC, who had chosen to bat. After a decent start, they lost two wickets in quick succession. An unbeaten stand of 116 runs for the third wicket between Ritik Tomar and Sudesh Wickremansinghe turned the match around for them as they posted a strong total of 138 runs. After a good partnership for the second wicket, Vinohrady struggled to find another significant partnership which resulted in losing the match for them as they could only muster 97 runs by the end and lost the match by 41 runs.
