On the other hand, Rayalaseema Kings had won three of their five league stage games and finished third in the rankings.

Rayalaseema Kings had played against Godavari Titans in their last match, where Godavari Titans won the toss and elected to field. The Kings had a decent start with an opening stand of 31 runs in 4.4 overs, but the second-wicket partnership proved to be the match-dictating one. Kogatam Reddy and Thanneru Krishna joined hands to stitch together a partnership of 112 runs for the second wicket, which placed the Kings in a much better position. The batters to follow maintained the run rate as well and finished with 218 runs on the board. The Titans, in reply, started in a much better manner, and it seemed they would easily chase down the total, but after the fall of the second wicket, they kept losing wickets regularly. By the time it came to finish the match, no batters were left on the crease and lost the game by just three runs.

Coastal Riders had squared off against Rayalaseema Kings in their last encounter, where Rayalaseema Kings won the toss, and they elected to field. However, the rain interrupted the match, and it had to be called off without a single ball being bowled. Since the match was the first qualifier match, the higher placed team in the rankings, i.e. Coastal Riders, were declared the winners and were sent off to the finals of the tournament.
