Batting first, Districts started decently but couldn’t make it to the big score and could only muster 240. Otago, when returned with the bat, Hamish Rutherford took the match by storm on his own and remained not out till the end. Otago easily chased the target and won the game by seven wickets with 74 balls to spare.
