However, not much time was left in the match, as the third innings could only go on for two runs as it ended in a draw.

Karachi Region Whites had played off against Lahore Region Blues in their last encounter, where Lahore Region Blues won the toss and elected to bowl. Karachi started horribly as they were reduced to five for just 21 before their lower middle order did some repair work and took the team to 161. In the second innings, Lahore started well but lost their track in the middle as they were too bowled out for just 203. After losing two wickets early again in the third innings, Karachi made a couple of good partnerships, due to which they scored 213 for the loss of six wickets and the match ended in a draw.
