Fortune Barishal (FBA) will lock horns with Khulna Tigers (KHT) in the 19th match of the Bangladesh Premier League 2024 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet on February 3. Fortune Barishal have won two of their five games and are placed fifth in the rankings, while Khulna Tigers have dominated the proceedings so far with all four wins and topping the charts.

Fortune Barishal had played against Sylhet Strikers in their last encounter, where Sylhet Strikers won the toss and elected to field. Barishal lost their skipper Tamim early but Ahmed Shehzad put up a great show with the bat, and Mahmudullah provided the dream finish for them as they went on to post 186 runs on the board. Strikers, on the other hand, in an attempt to start aggressively kept losing wickets one after the other. Soon enough they were bowled out for just 137 hence losing the game by 49 runs.

Khulna Tigers had played against Durdanto Dhaka in their last encounter, where Durdanto Dhaka won the toss and elected to bat. Due to a sensational batting performance by Mohammad Naim, Dhaka was off to a flier but the fall of the first wicket opened the floodgates as they lost wickets in a heap and scored just 130 runs. When the Tigers came out to bat, it seemed as if they were batting on a different track altogether. They thrashed the opposition bowlers as they finished the game in just 15 overs and won the game by 10 wickets.
