FCC lost the opening game against Almulla Exchange CC by eight wickets and are currently placed in the sixth position in the Group A table. They managed to score 87 runs while batting first, with wicketkeeper-batter Hassan Sarwar smashing 29 off 19, but Almulla Exchange CC were eased to the target with ten balls remaining. NCM Investments started their campaign with a dominant 124-run win over MEC in their opening game. The star opener Diju Sheeli smashed 113* off 34, and captain Nasir Hussain added 52* off 14 to post a big total of 192/1. Then Jithin Jose and Indiak Mangalam took one wicket each to restrict MEC to just 68/4 in ten overs.
