Urbanrisers Hyderabad squared off against India Capitals in their last game where India Capitals won the toss and elected to field. Hyderabad had a poor start as they were reduced to 10 for two, but a brilliant partnership worth 92 runs for the third wicket brought them back into the game. It was followed by another fantastic partnership, and they were looking for a good finish, which they aptly received and took the total to 189 runs. Capitals lost their captain on the very first ball and lost another wicket in the next over. They were pushed to the backseat, but a brilliant innings from Kevin brought back life in them. However, it still was not enough, as they lost the game by just three runs.
