Hubli Tigers finished last season at 4th position and were defeated by Mysore Warriors in the Eliminator match.They have a strong batting line-up with players like Manish Pandey, Luvnith Sisodia and Mohammad Taha. Luvnith and Taha were the top scorers for Tigers last season. Luvnith smashed 389 runs in 11 matches. In the bowling attack, they have Vishwath Kaverappa who was the joint-leading wicket taker from last season, picking 17 wickets in 13 matches.

Mysore Warriors finished at the 3rd spot with 5 wins in 10 matches and they were eliminated in the 2nd qualifier by Gulbarga Mystics. Jagadeesh Suchith and Karthik will lead the Warriors’ bowling attack. He was in good form last year with 16 wickets in 12 matches while Karthik picked 13 in 9 matches. The batting department will be led by Karun Nair and there are various other quality players to support him. Nair scored 257 runs in 12 matches last year. Another plus point for the Warriors will be the participation of pacer Prasidh Krishna this year. He will strengthen the bowling attack.
