India Capitals (IC) will take on Southern Super Stars (SSS) in the 7th match of the Legends League Cricket 2023 on Saturday (November 25) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun. Capitals have lost both their matches so far and are in second-last place. Super Stars lost their opening game of the season and are placed in the last position in the points tally.

Capitals lost their previous game against Urbanrisers Hyderabad by a mere margin of three runs after failing to chase down the target of 190 runs. Gurkeerat Singh Maan’s knock of 89 runs off 54 deliveries helped the Urbanrisers post a total of 189 runs on the board for the loss of five wickets. Kevin Pietersen scored 77 runs off 48 deliveries for the Capitals but failed to guide the team to victory.

The Super Stars also faced Urbanrisers Hyderabad in their previous outing. Urbanrisers were bundled out for 156 runs in 19.2 overs and only two batters managed to make a double-digit score for the team. Hamid Hassan was the pick of the bowlers for the Super Stars as he took four wickets for 30 runs in four overs. The batters failed to build a decent partnership in the middle for the Super Stars, and they lost wickets one after other. In the end, they could only make 143 runs and lost the match by 13 runs.
