Shreyas Iyer is added to the team while Jayadev Unadkat has left the camp to play in Ranji Trophy final for Saurashtra. Matthew Kuhnemann has replaced Mitchell Swepson for this match for Australia.

The pitch at Delhi's Arun Jaitely Stadium offers a batting-friendly surface with an average first innings score of 278. It has been reported that the pitch will have a spin-friendly surface for this match as well and both teams are likely to play three spinners again.
