After the completion of the T20I series, the focus will now shift to the ODI series as India will host South Africa in the first ODI of the three-match series at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. South Africa last played an ODI series in India back in October 2015 and won that five-match series by a margin of 3-2. India played a three-match ODI series at the start of this year against South Africa and suffered a whitewash. Shikhar Dhawan will be leading the Indian side again.
