Madhav Kaushik remained unbeaten on 52 runs off 26 deliveries. The Superstars were bundled out for 83 runs. Zeeshan Ansari and Rinku Singh took three wickets each for the Mavericks. Madhav won the Player of the Match award.

The Super Kings lost their previous match against Lucknow Falcons. The Falcons chased down the target of 139 runs in 19.5 overs with four wickets in hand. Kavya Teotia was the highest scorer for the Super Kings and made 31 runs off 33 deliveries.
