In the 47th match of the IPL 2026, the Mumbai Indians (MI) will take on the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Mumbai Indians suffered an 8-wicket loss against Chennai Super Kings in their last match. Batting first, Mumbai posted a competitive total of 159, but Chennai chased it down in 18.1 overs. Naman Dhir led the scoring with 57 runs, while Ryan Rickelton added a valuable 37.
On the bowling front, Mumbai struggled to make early breakthroughs. Jasprit Bumrah and AM Ghazanfar picked up one wicket each, but the rest of the bowling attack failed to create any impact.
Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants also had a disappointing outing, losing to Kolkata Knight Riders in a Super Over.
