Norway will lock horns with Scotland XI in the Eliminator match of Group F of the European Cricket Championship at the Cartama Oval in Cartama on October 14. Norway has played four games where they won and lost two matches each and finished in third position in Group F. Scotland XI, on the other hand, played four games as well but could only win one of them, finishing in fourth place.

Norway had played off against Germany in their last match, where Germany won the toss and elected to bowl. Norway started well, and as the game progressed, they got better with their scoring rate. Walid Ghauri led the attack with his good knock of 71 runs, which took the team’s total to 154 runs. Germany, with their chase, were on a completely different level as they went all guns blazing right from the start. They lost a couple of wickets in the process but scored much more runs than that, due to which they easily won the match by seven wickets.

Scotland XI had played off against Germany in their last encounter, where Scotland XI won the toss and elected to bat. They started horribly, as they had already lost four wickets within three overs.  However, their middle order then came into the picture and calmed the storm for them. They scored decently and took the team to a total of 95 runs. Germany lost a wicket early but had brilliantly partnerships for second and third wickets, due to which they easily won the match by six wickets with three overs to spare.
