Strikers started aggressively and were scoring well, having already scored 61 runs by the end of six overs. Then they lost wickets in a bunch, which could have created problems for them but they had almost reached the total by then and so were finally able to win the match by three wickets.

Delhi Bulls squared off against Samp Army in their last encounter, where Samp Army won the toss and elected to bowl. It was not a good day with the bat for Delhi Bulls as all their batters struggled. Only James Vinve and Rovman Powell could score some decent runs as their aggressive knocks led their team to a total of 95 runs at the loss of eight wickets. They lost two wickets early and seemed to be in trouble, but the experienced duo of Faf du Plessis and Najibullah Zadran led their team to victory by a margin of four wickets.
