Fatima Sana played a crucial role with her knock of 90 runs off 104 deliveries. Her innings helped Pakistan post a total of 220 runs before getting bundled out on the last delivery of their innings. Sophie Devine was the pick of the bowlers and picked three wickets for 25 runs in six overs. Molly Penfold and Fran Jonas shared two wickets each.

New Zealand lost their first two wickets for just 13 runs. Suzie Bates and Maddy Green helped the team come out of the trouble and added 142 runs for the third wicket.
