The Women’s Senior One Day Trophy 2024 is an upcoming domestic List-A cricket tournament in India organized by the BCCI for women cricketers. Starting on January 4, 37 teams will compete in 128 matches. The tournament's final is set for January 26 at the Infipro Sports Club Ground in Vadodara. The teams are divided into five groups, and those leading the points table in each group will directly qualify for the quarter-finals. Additionally, the best second-placed team will secure a spot in the quarter-finals, while the remaining four second-placed teams will compete in pre-quarter-finals.

Railways enters the Women’s Senior One Day Trophy 2024 as defending champions, having secured victory against Karnataka in the previous season by chasing down a target of 164 runs with four wickets to spare. Tanuja Kanwar played a crucial role, taking three wickets for 26 runs in 10 overs and contributing 31 runs with the bat. She was awarded the Player of the Match.

Tamil Nadu won five out of seven matches last season and finished in third place in Group B. They lost the Pre Quarter Final against Railways which marked their exit. Tamil Nadu were bundled out for 115 runs in 45.2 overs and Railways chased down the same in 27.2 overs.
