The third and final ODI of this series between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka will be contested in Hambantota's Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium on Wednesday (June 7). After facing a huge loss in the first game, Sri Lanka opted to bat in the second ODI with a plan in mind. Openers Pathum Nissanka and Dimuth Karunaratne put on a good opening stand of 82 runs in 15 overs. Followed by solid fifties from Dimuth Karunaratne and Kusal Mendis laid a strong foundation to go hard in the end overs, which worked well. Additionally, short appearances from Shanaka, Dhananjaya, and Hasaranga helped Sri Lanka cross the 300-run mark. Sri Lanka scored 109 runs in the final 10 overs. Coming to their bowling department, Dushmantha Chameera showed his class at the start of the innings by dismissing the Afghan wicketkeeper Rahmanullah Gurbaz. It was all about spinners from that point. Especially from the start of the 30th over, Sri Lanka picked up 8 wickets for 45 runs, with Dhananjaya and Hasaranga sharing six wickets. Sri Lankan spinners took 7 wickets as they won the game by a huge margin.

Wanindu Hasaranga SL | ALL
The surface at Hambantota will definitely suit spinners. In his return in the second ODI, he took three wickets for 42 runs. The all-rounder can provide you with fantasy points through his dual skills. He can certainly hit a quick-fire knock in the end, like he did in the second ODI .
Fazalhaq Farooqi AFG | BOWL
He can swing it in the initial overs as well as nail the yorkers in the end overs. He has taken 18 wickets in the last 11 games and is the head of Afghanistan's pace attack. His impactful performance in the first ODI helped Afghanistan restrict Sri Lanka from scoring over 270 runs.
Dushmantha Chameera SL | BOWL
This right-arm fast bowler troubled the Afghanistan batters in the last game. Though he took only two wickets, he gave away just 18 runs in 7.1 overs. He will be bowling upfront for Sri Lanka, so he can create that impact in your fantasy teams.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Azmatullah Omarzai
AFG | ALL
In nine games, he has an average of 15 and picked just five wickets. His batting position is also one of the reasons to skip him on your team.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz
AFG | WK
This promising young wicketkeeper failed in the first two games and scored 14 (23) and 2 (12). He's been added to this section considering his recent form.
