Nicosia XI Fighters CC faced Limassol Zalmi in their last match, where Limassol Zalmi won the toss, and they elected to bat. Zalmi got a decent start. Salman then entered to bat at number three and scored in every direction. He smashed 63 runs off just 23 balls and helped his team post a total of 124 runs at the loss of four wickets. Fighters showed intent from the very first ball of their chase and maintained the required scoring rate. The match got very close, and the game ended in a tie. Limassol Zalmi were adjudged the winner of the golden ball.
