Due to the bad weather conditions, the match was reduced to eight overs. Welsh Fire opened brilliantly, with Luke Wells hitting a magnificent 59 runs. Glen Phillips provided important support to the team by scoring 19 runs. The team scored 94/3. Only two players from Manchester Originals performed. Jos Butler and Max Holden scored 37 runs each.
