Once their opening stand broke, they lost three wickets within a span of 18 runs but had a fantastic fourth-wicket partnership to bring them back into the game. The pair of Amal Rajeevan and Shaik Basha added 48 runs, but as soon as they were gone, other batters could not keep up as well, and soon they were bowled out at a mere total of 121 runs. Uganda won the match by a big margin of 59 runs.
