While chasing 223, Derbyshire was able to score 194 runs, and they were bundled out in 19.4 overs. In-form batter Wayne Madsen top-scored with 63(32). Opener Harry Came gave a good start with 43 runs off 29 balls. But in the end, they fell short by 28 runs. Patrick Brown and Usama Mir scalped three wickets each, while Adam Finch bagged two.
