Hampshire will lock horns with Glamorgan in the 114th match of the Vitality Blast 2023 at the Rose Bowl in Southampton on June 30. Hampshire have won seven of their 12 matches and are in the third position in the South Group. Glamorgan, on the other hand, have won just five of their 12 matches and are placed in the sixth position in the South Group.
Hampshire had squared off against Essex in their last match, where Hampshire won the toss and elected to field. Essex had a picture-perfect start as the openers amassed 127 runs within ten overs and set up a brilliant stage for the middle order. They lost too many wickets and could not capitalise as much but still managed to post 209 runs on the board. Some good partnerships in the middle overs and some quality finish meant Hampshire won the match by four wickets, including half-centuries from James Vince and James Fuller.
Glamorgan had squared off against Sussex in their last match, where Sussex won the toss and elected to bat. Sussex had started decently, which turned into a horrible start where they had lost four wickets within the powerplay. Shadab Khan then took matters into his own hands and played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 87 runs which helped Sussex put up 182 runs on the board. Glamorgan started better than their counterparts but could not sustain it for a much longer duration. By the end of the second innings, Glamorgan could score 162 runs for the loss of eight wickets which meant Sussex had won the match by 20 runs.

Player Picks
James Vince HAM | BAT
Vince has one of the best batters of the tournament smashing 567 runs at a strike rate of 163.4 in 12 matches. He should definitely be picked up for captaincy role in your team.
Chris Cooke GLA | WK
Cooke has smashed 408 runs at a strike rate of 171.43 in 12 matches which includes a century and a half century each. He can keep the wickets as well and so it can be beneficial to make him your captain.
