Female streaker promoting an adult website tries to invade pitch during the World Cup 2019 final

Not many would have expected an England-New Zealand final in this year’s Cricket World Cup but then, the game remains a great leveller. The Black Caps, who would consider themselves lucky to have made the last four despite a good start to the tournament, stunned India by 18 runs in the semi-final to make their second consecutive World Cup final. England, on the other hand, thrashed Australia by 8 wickets in the semi-final to make their first final in 27 years.

The Three Lions got to bat second in the title clash, just as they did in all their previous three outings in 1979, 1987 and 1992. Black Caps captain Kane Williamson won the toss and elected to bat and his team put up a total of 241 for 8 in 50 overs. Opener Henry Nicholls was the top scorer for the Kiwis with 55 off 77 balls while Tom Latham made 47. For the home team, spearhead Chris Woakes and Liam Plunkett took three wickets each.

Though the New Zealand batsmen hadn’t really put the game on fire, some excitement still greeted the audience present at the venue, the iconic Lord’s. A woman streaker tried to invade the pitch. She was wearing a black outfit and it had the writing ‘Vitaly Uncensored’ in white on it which is an adult website. She was barred by the security personnel standing near the fences.

The woman was later identified as Elena, the mother of Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, a known YouTuber known by the name of VitalyzdTv, who was born the year England had last made the World Cup final (1992). In May, Vitaly’s girlfriend Kinsey Wolanski, a model, had tried to cause an interruption during the Champions League final match between Liverpool and Tottenham as she tried to run onto the pitch in a bid to promote Vitaly’s adult website.

Elena is believed to be of Russian nationality and is currently based in Los Angeles, as per her Instagram post. She has a decent following on social media and the number will certainly increase following her controversial action at Lord’s on Sunday.

“My mom is crazy,” Vitaly tweeted after his mother’s act at the cricket ground.
