This CrickingDuels Fantasy guide is for the final of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season which will be played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Two best teams of the tournament are all set to fittingly face for the ultimate glory at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. While the Orange Army are yet to defeat CSK this season after three encounters, they will be eager to turn the tables on them in the big game. However, all the prospects ahead of the mega-finale sets up for a humdinger and the spectators will be entertained to the fullest.
Kane Williamson will be thrilled with the way his team showed the character in the crunch game against the KKR and captured the Eden Gardens. The bowlers were once again at their best and no wonder would be itching to replicate a similar show in the title clash. CSK, on the other hand, have enjoyed a four-day break ahead of the final showdown and will be feeling refreshed after a hectic season. They are a group of veterans and surely will be looking to win their third title. Here we bring to you the CrickingDuels Fantasy guide for the game:
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH):
Batsmen
Despite failures of the top order of both the sides, I am going in with the similar set of batsmen and most importantly has ignored Faf du Plessis. Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu should come good in the big game for CSK and one of them will play a key knock definitely. For SRH, Kane Williamson and Shikhar Dhawan continue to remain the big guns and the batting will once again depend on the two to make the bulk of the scoring. There is a chance of Manish Pandey coming back into the playing XI, but I don’t want to take any risk for this crucial game.
All-Rounders
Shane Watson has gone quiet in the last few games and will be surely itching to hit the straps as soon as possible. No wonder he is important to the fortunes of the Yellow brigade and if he manages to stay in the middle for more than 10 overs, the bowlers won’t have a good outing. Carlos Brathwaite has been bowling a few crucial overs from the last couple of matches and pick wickets as well. Fantasy wise he will be a good pick and no doubt his batting in the death overs will be a bonus as well.
Wicketkeeper
Here, I am going in with Wridhhiman Saha as a wicketkeeper in my line-up. With MS Dhoni at the other end, many would pick him and Saha has an ability to play a quickfire knock at the top of the order. His contribution to the SRH will be a bonus for me in the final and would reap rich rewards for the risk I’ve taken.
Bowlers
Now, Rashid Khan has to be there in any team. it will be a risk making him a captain or vice-captain as I doubt if he will play as well as he did in the last match. Siddarth Kaul is the other SRH bowler for me as he has impressed a lot and has bowled crunch overs. Deepak Chahar and Lungi Ngidi are the remaining two bowlers of my line-up as both the are mernacing with the new ball. The latter can also bowl at the death and pick wickets which will give me more points on any day.
