International cricket is witnessing a lot of changes. With the change in the generation of players, viewers and followers of the game, it has adapted to the 21st century. Modern day cricket as they call it is fast. Things change in a matter of overs. Twenty20 cricket, the youngest son of the sport is the crowd favorite while Test the eldest has been asked to develop itself to the age and catch-up with the current trends. Today, 27th August 2016 is the tenth such instance that an international cricket match will initiate across all the three formats.

Test:

The South Africa vs New Zealand second Test of the two-match series is underway at Centurion. New Zealand won the toss and asked the home team to bat first. This game will decide the fate of the series as the first match at the Kingsmead Durban ended in a tame draw as only 77.4 overs on the first day only 22 more overs could be bowled on day 2 before rain came in to curtail any further possibility of play on the remaining three days.

ODI:

The 50 overs game is the 3rd ODI between England and Pakistan at Lord’s. Pakistan having won the toss decided to bat first. England are 1-0 up in the 5-match series and this game will determine whether it is the hosts who take a lead in the series or the visitors bounce back to continue their impressive run on the tour. England won the first ODI by a margin of 44 runs as per the Duckworth-Lewis method, Azhar Ali and his men have questions ahead of them to answer but given the talent in their ranks they certainly have the ability to bypass the hurdles.

T20I:

Team India takes on West Indies in the first of the two T20Is at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill in Florida. T20 World champions West Indies will be eager to register their first win after they lost the Test series 2-0. MS Dhoni & Co. on the other hand will remember the result of the last T20I these two teams met for and will motivate themselves to put up a challenge too good for the T20 specialists and claim both the series on tour.
