Another day and another hilarious conversation on Instagram has entertained the fans. This time around, India captain Virat Kohli and pacer Ishant Sharma were the entertainers. In recent times, the fans have witnessed a number of instances when India cricket stars took to social media to pull each other’s legs.

Just a couple of days ago, Umesh Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja did the same when the former posted a clip of himself doing weight training. Jadeja could not stop himself from having some fun at the expense of Yadav and the latter also could not stop himself from giving a hilarious reply. And on Saturday, Virat Kohli decided to have some fun.

It all started when Ishant Sharma took to Instagram to post a photo of himself. The lanky pacer, who too is known for his funny nature, ended up giving a philosophical caption on his photo, writing: “you only live once 🤙”. This is when Virat Kohli decided to jump to action and posted an absolutely hilarious reply.

Virat Kohli on the cusp of etching yet another record

Earlier this week, Virat Kohli achieved yet another incredible record. During the third T20I against Sri Lanka, he completed 11,000 runs in international cricket across. Kohli needed just one run before this game to reach the landmark which he did easily during his fine cameo of 26 runs.  He also broke Ricky Ponting’s record to become the fastest captain to achieve the feat in terms of both matches and innings played.

Kohli is the second Indian captain after MS Dhoni to score 11,000 runs in all three formats combined.  Meanwhile, both Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma will play together again when India take on New Zealand in the Test series next month. Not a part of the T20I and ODI teams anymore, Ishant last played for India during the famous 3-0 whitewash win over South Africa.
