Harbhajan Singh cannot understand Karun Nair’s absence from the Indian team

The Indian ODI and T20I teams for the home series against England was announced yesterday. MSK Prasad & Co. certainly had to sort a few things out before eventually discussing and naming the team. While a lot of youngsters were given a chance an unexpected senior player in Yuvraj Singh was plunged back following his impressive domestic performances. Despite that Harbhajan Singh wasn’t quite impressed with the squad.

Ahead of the start of the series England have a couple of practice games to play in Mumbai and the selectors also penned the players for the matches. While former skipper MS Dhoni will be leading a team of reckoning players in the first match. Ajinkya Rahane will have a bunch of young cricketers at his disposal for the second warm-up fixture. While the likes of Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan have been picked for the warm-up match Karun Nair wasn’t included in the two teams either.

Harbhajan tweeted about the same today and was wondering why Karun who scored a triple century in the last Test against England wasn’t considered for the team. Bhajji wrote – “Hello guys Wher is Karun Nair?? Who just scored 300 v Eng..he isn’t part of even practice games against England.forget ODI.Wah kamal hai.”

He later deleted that tweet but by that time had already made a stir on social media. Here is the screen grab of his tweet:
