The discarded Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has lent a helping hand to the four-year-old girl named Kavya who is suffering from Encephalitis. He also visited a hospital where she is admitted for treatment. The gesture from Bhajji is absolutely wonderful and he has set an example helping a little girl. His fans showered praises on him for extending his support in this case.

Despite being out of the favour of the national selectors, Harbhajan has involved himself in social causes as his part to give back to the society. Recently, he was in Bahrain to assist his off-field friend and the former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi in a noble cause. Shahid Afridi Foundation arranged lunch for over 2000 labourers of the Labour Camp (Nass Corporation) in Sitra, Bahrain. Both the superstars had lunch with them and brought smiles to their faces.

Bhajji donated for Kavya generously

Harbhajan is always active on social media no matter what and keeps his followers updated about his life. Similarly, he came across a tweet of the page ‘ Khalsa Aid’ which had appealed to help the 4-year-old kid Kavya who was suffering from Encephalitis which is a brain illness. He was touched and offered help in his reply. He wrote, “Plz let me know if I can be a help to this baby in any manner.. let me pay for her treatment.. plz provide me her details.”

He also visited Kavya in the hospital and donated generously for her treatment. The news of his visit was confirmed by the same page which had appealed to help Kavya and thanked the veteran cricketer. However, Bhajji replied that he was just doing his duty and God will take care of the girl. He tweeted, “Kavya is our daughter.. waheguru will protect her..we r just doing our duty..satnam waheguru.”
