Harbhajan Singh shuts up an irksome Twitter user

Harbhajan Singh, the Mumbai Indians off-spinner and one of the senior pros of the two-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions, got into a verbal altercation on Twitter today.

Bhajji posted two pictures which showed a policeman beating a woman carrying a child in her hand. He was upset over this treatment and tweeted to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said that police is there to protect the commoners and not to abuse them.

“Heartbreaking to see such images..cops hitting a mother..is this image we wanna show about our country ?? #shame“, he said in his first tweet.

In his second tweet, he addressed the Prime Minister. He said, “Sir @ narendramodi this kind of nonsense should not b tolerate. Police is to protect and help not to hit our own people”

His appeal got serious reaction and a couple people rushed in to teach the off-spinner some basic of law. A twitter user named Rahul Kumar tweeted to him, @harbhajan_singh @narendramodi Paaji…please note state police is not under our PM…please raise these issue with state CM…

Bhajji also replied to him and said that Punjab also comes in India. “Punjab or any state comes in India 4 ur kind knowledge.whn this happen 2 ur family then u will feel. u talking rubbish.”

Some of the users gave the matter a different angle, trying to make fun of him. One of the users even made the temperamental cricketer lose his cool.
