The latest all-round sensation of Indian cricket, Hardik Pandya, after making his debut in 2016, made the year 2017 his own. The Baroda player has gone from strength to strength in every series he has featured in.
Furthermore, he has earned the reputation of being a spin-killer with a knack of smashing three consecutive sixes. From Adam Zampa to Imad Wasim and Milinda Pushpakumara, one all have faced the wrath of Pandya’s blade. Especially after the New Zealand series back in 2016, Pandya went on to show that his bowling should not be taken lightly now with an extra yard or two.
If we fast-forward a couple of decades hence, when the pundits discuss the glorious career of Hardik Pandya, the watershed moment would be then recently concluded ODI series against Australia. Pandya won a couple of man of the match awards due to his performances at Indore and Cuttack where he single-handedly took India to victory and also clinched the man of the series award.
So much so, that the masses are comparing Pandya with the likes of Kapil Dev and slated that India’s long-time search for a genuine fast bowling all-rounder has now terminated with the onset of Pandya era. Apart from all the cricketing abilities, Hardik has got a typical Carribean flamboyance to go with, be it with his fashion statement or his over-the-top hairstyles.
The latest feather on the Mumbai Indians‘ discovered talent is him featuring on the covers page of Maxim magazine.”@hardikpandya7 stars on the cover of #MaximSteed this month” tweeted Maxim on their twitter page along with a hunky picture of Pandya.
Hardik himself took to Twitter to post a couple of pictures from the photoshoot by captioning,”Life’s about choices. Every choice you make makes you who you are,” and “Don’t be afraid of change… it’s leading you to a new beginning”
