Hardik Pandya picks the best Indian all-rounder of all time

Team India has found a very able all-rounder in Hardik Pandya in the recent times. Hardik had arrived in the national level primarily as a lower middle order batsman. However, in the last 6 months or so, he has transformed himself into an all-rounder who can hit the long ball and take the new ball for the team when needed. Needless to say, he is a value addition to the Indian team.
Skipper Virat Kohli has also looked very pleased with the way Hardik Pandya has been adding balance to the playing eleven. One will not be surprised to see Pandya take the new ball for India in the upcoming edition of the Champions Trophy. Clearly, Hardik has evolved a great deal as an all-rounder. In a recent interaction with the fans on the social media, Hardik picked the best Indian all-rounder till date according to him.

Hardik was asked to pick one name and he chose to take the name of the World Cup winning Indian skipper Kapil Dev. Hardik deals in the same traits that Kapil Dev used to deal in during his playing days. “Definitely Kapil Dev. He is favorite of people and mine as well,” answered the young all-rounder.

Best batsman to bowl at
In the next question, he was asked to choose the batsman that he loves to bowl at in the nets. Without much delay, Hardik responded with the name of South African batsman AB de Villiers. He quoted, “I love to bowl to AB de Villiers in the nets. He is someone really amazing.”

Favorite shot
In another question asked by a fan, Hardik was asked to pick his favorite shot. The all-rounder noted that he loves to play the straight drives. “My favourite shot is straight-drive which I love to play,” he quoted.
