Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya look set to become the next pair of brothers who can make it really big in the game. In the past, the game has seen a number of siblings lighting up the fields together. The way both the Pandya brothers are performing at the moment, it would be a big surprise if they fail to do well in the coming days. Hardik is already an integral part of the team across formats while Krunal is fast establishing himself as a must-have player in T20Is.

Hardik has not looked back since making a comeback to action after the Koffee with Karan fiasco. Along with Krunal, the highly-rated allrounder starred for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League as the franchise won a record fourth title. He then had a good outing in the World Cup too, where he impressed with both bat and ball. Hardik, however, could not make it to India’s tour of West Indies due to a back injury.

But Krunal was a part of the T20I squad and he made it count. The senior Pandya, who made his T20I debut during the Australia tour last year, won the Man of the Series award. Krunal starred for the Men in Blue as the visitors blanked the hosts in the three-match T20I series. Krunal was very economical with the ball and also picked up crucial wickets. He also made a handy contribution with the bat in the series.

Hardik’s favourite left-hander

Hardik Pandya, meanwhile, has revealed that Krunal is his favourite left-hander in cricket. It all started when the ICC took to Twitter to conduct a poll on the occasion of International left-handers day. The day is observed annually on August 13 to celebrate the uniqueness and differences of the left handers in a predominantly right-handed world. The ICC put the photos of some of the greatest left-handers to have graced the game and wrote, “Let us know who your favourite left-hander is!”

In reply, Hardik posted a picture of himself and his elder brother Krunal while posting the following tweet:
