Hardik Pandya stuns David Warner with a brilliant cutter

Hardik Pandya meteoric rise in International cricket has been sensational and now, he’s one of the most important members of the unit. With the bat, ball and on the field, his contribution to the side has been terrific and he is looking well set to book an advance ticket England for the ICC World Cup 2019.

In the ongoing series against Australia, Hardik Pandya played an absolute blinder in the first ODI, which helped India post a respectable total despite a poor start. In the second game, he picked up the wicket of Steve Smith completely against the run of play and that turned the match on its head.

Hardik Pandya once again provided a crucial breakthrough in the first innings of the 3rd ODI, picking up the wicket of David Warner. Warner was looking well set for a big total and the Finch-Warner duo had already added 70 runs for the first wicket. The pressure was mounting on the Indian bowlers as none of them were able to restrict the flow of runs.

Nevertheless, Pandya bamboozled Warner’s sticks with a fantastic leg-cutter. The ball turned into the batsman once it hit the deck and Warner, who was attempting to play in the line, didn’t expect it to cut so sharply. As a result, he failed to make any contact and the ball hit the top of middle.

Aaron Finch scores a ton on comeback

Australian dashing opener Aaron Finch’s return has boosted their entire side. He managed to score a brilliant hundred with some crucial contributions coming from the willows of Warner and Steve Smith. Smith and Finch added a whopping 153-run second wicket stand, which ensured the ball was in the Aussie court for a major while.

But Kuldeep Yadav stepped up and dismissed both the dangerous candidates. The Australian innings didn’t progress the way they would’ve wanted after such a brilliant start, but the major talking point of the innings will be that peach of a delivery from Hardik Pandya.
